With built-in 3-axis compass plus 3-axis acceleration sensors, the Pro2 can acquire accurate headings even when the device is tilted on variou angles. The Geotagger Pro2 also incorporates many features from the previous Geotagger Pro The interval can be set via custom setting. When the camera is connected with the Pro2, it's equipped to take photographs automatically at preset intervals. If there is a “TIM” icon shown on the LCD, it means the current time is the high accuracy time. To get the maximum high accuracy time, the Pro2 needs to capture the GPS signal for more than 10 seconds. This is based on a high precision pulse which is output from the GPS chipset.
The Pro2 can provide a high accuracy time of better than 100mS. The log file can be directly copied and deleted.
The flash memory can be easily read by a computer via a USB connection. The Pro2 has a 2 GB built-in memory, which can record up to 4,900,000 positions. The Pro2 has a built-in 2.4 GHz wireless receiver, which can receive focus and shutter release commands from the 2.4GHz Wireless Shutter Remote (Supplied as an accessory of Pro2). The display is higher contrast and can be viewed even under bright sunlight. The improved LCD is FSTN, which is clearer than the standard STN LCD. The new state-of-the-art design has a more professinal look, plus it's more comofrtable to use.
